  • All courses are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Since there is limited enrollment for all courses, full payment is required at the time of registration in order to reserve your place.
  • Payment Options:
    -Credit Card (MasterCard or Visa) - May be made by phone or mail
    -Check - Must be mailed to Miller-Motte College
    -Checks and Credit Card payment made by mail must include a completed registration form
  • Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation packet in the mail.
    -The confirmation packet will include any additional information about the course, directions, and information about lodging in the area.

Refund Information:

-If you need to cancel your registration and it is done by phone two weeks prior to the first day of the class, you will receive a full refund less a $10.00 administrative fee.
-After the registration deadline, no refunds or credits will be given for any reason.

Advanced Treatment Techniques for the Upper Body

Therapists will learn and practice regional advanced treatment techniques to be more efficient and effective in accessing and treating functionally problematic muscles and fascia, in the neck and shoulder girdle. This one day workshop will start with a common case presentation of a client to effectively look at the symptomatic presentation in order to support the clinical reasoning and rational for techniques, modalities, treatment positions and structures addressed. Myofascial Sports Massage

This class presents the basic principles and theories of Myofascial Sports Massage (MSM). Students will learn the standing structural awareness test and basic body reading as a way to evaluate clients. Common sports-related injuries, such as neck, lumbar and thigh strain, rotator cuff dysfunction, piriformis and iliotibial band syndromes, anterior & posterior compartment syndrome and plantar fasciitis are presented and subsequently how to use perform MSM routines to treat them.
